Anu Pylkkänen is Director of External Relations and CSR of the Tapiola Group. She has held the position since April 2008. Prior to that she was Assistant Director responsible for International Legal Affairs and international lobbying. She was also Managing Director of Tapiola’s reinsurance run-off company, Alma Insurance Company Ltd (subsidiary of Tapiola Group), from 1995-2007. Prior to joining Tapiola, Anu worked in various Helsinki law firms.
Anu is the Chair of the AMICE CSR task force and is also a member of the Legal Affairs task force.
Anu holds a Master of Law from the University of Helsinki and has studied in the UK, USA and Denmark.
Anu enjoys outdoor activities and she teaches Tai Chi as a hobby. She is the President and founding member of a local community sports association with more than 300 members.
